Process of Elimination is Key

MBE StrategiesYour task on the Multistate Bar Exam is not to find the ideal answer, but to find the best answer of the options available. Sometimes that is immediately apparent. More often than not, however, you will be eliminating three wrong answers either because they state an incorrect proposition of law or they do not appropriately relate to the facts. The NCBE is quite skilled at camouflaging the correct answer. It can be much easier to see the errors in the wrong choices than the choice that has no error. If you can positively eliminate three options and the remaining answer is not totally unacceptable, that’s your choice. Mark it and move on.
